Companies here are not eager to have their domain names registered with all the available domain extensions. Some companies simply prefix the "official" word before the domain/ blog/ network domain name to make it original/ official domain name! Someone may be interested in "indian.food" domain!

For example, the ipad.com or infy.in or even infosys.in and there could be many more, are NOT taken care by their brand names/ companies, I think, the idea of having more domain names is of no use - at least here in India!
